(a) Green, streamlined plastic chassis with bright brushed aluminum trim across top and around front carrying handle; embossed in the trim above the margin-sets in print and braille, "ELECTRIC"; light gray plastic keypads on aluminum key arms; six oval braille dot keys with rectilinear space bar in middle, line advance key on left, backspace key on right; gray plastic margin sets in slot above keyboard with tactile gauge; flat paper advance knobs on both sides; aluminum embossing head with push-button carriage release and braille eraser built into the top, located within recess on back; paper release levers on both sides of this recess; folding paper rest stores on lower back when not in use; sides of chassis have a stippled texture, "P" cast on both sides; black on/off toggle switch on fron right side; carriage; cast in chassis above keyboard in braille and print, "PERKINS BRAILLER"; clear plastic dust shield screwed to bottom with black rubber feet and manufacturers label, serial# E00003 (b) white wooden "Large Eraser" from Perkins Products is velcroed to the left side of the chassis.
